Product Overview

The automatic 500–5,000 kg/h sheet-grade PET bottle washing recycling line is an integrated plastic recycling system designed to convert post-consumer PET bottles into clean,uniform,and low-contamination PET flakes suitable for sheet extrusion and other high-value recycling applications.

Engineered for plastic processing plants,recycling facilities,and waste management operations,the sheet grade PET bottle washing line combines automated conveying,sorting,size reduction,washing,separation,drying,and material handling systems.Its modular configuration supports processing capacities from 500 to 5,000 kg/h,allowing the equipment to be matched to different production requirements and plant layouts.

The finished PET flakes are processed to a quality level suitable for manufacturing PET sheets,thermoformed packaging,strapping,and other recycled PET products,subject to incoming material quality and the selected washing configuration.

2. Designed for Sheet-Grade PET Flakes

The sheet grade PET bottle recycling line is configured to produce clean and consistent PET flakes for use in PET sheet extrusion.It provides effective removal of:

- Sand,stones,and other heavy contaminants
- Dirt and organic residues
- Adhesives and surface contamination
- Fines and dust
- Floating polyolefin materials such as PP and PE

Proper process configuration helps improve flake cleanliness,moisture control,bulk density,and processing stability during downstream sheet production.

3. Advanced Material Separation

The sheet grade PET sheet & bottle washing line can include multiple separation technologies to improve final product quality:

4. Efficient PET Bottle Size Reduction

A heavy-duty PET bottle crusher or granulator reduces whole bottles into properly sized flakes for washing and separation.

5. Multi-Stage Washing System

The washing section in PET bottle cleaning system is designed to remove dirt,beverage residue,labels,glue,and other contaminants from PET flakes.Depending on the application,the system may include:

- Pre-washing or friction washing
- Cold washing
- Hot washing with detergent or alkaline solution
- High-speed friction washing
- Rinsing and neutralization
- Final dewatering

Hot washing is recommended when the incoming bottles contain high levels of adhesive,oil,sugar,or other difficult-to-remove contamination.The washing temperature and chemical dosage can be adjusted according to the raw material condition and required output quality.

6. Effective PP/PE Separation

PET bottles commonly contain PP or PE caps,rings,and other non-PET materials.The sheet grade PET bottle recycling machine uses sink-float separation to separate materials based on density:

- PET flakes sink in the separation tank
- PP and PE materials float and are removed
- Contamination is continuously discharged from the system

This separation step is important for producing PET flakes suitable for stable sheet extrusion and for reducing defects in the final PET sheet.
