Typical Washing Line Process

A complete plastic bottle washing line generally includes the following stages:

1. Bale Opening and Material Feeding

Baled plastic bottles and containers are introduced into the washing line for plastic bottle through a bale breaker,conveyor,or manual feeding platform.The feeding system provides a steady and controlled material flow to improve overall line stability.

2. Crushing

A heavy-duty plastic crusher reduces the bottles and containers into uniformly sized flakes.The plastic crusher machine is designed for continuous operation and may include wear-resistant components,an adjustable cutting system,and a screen for controlling flake size.

Uniform flake size improves washing performance and supports consistent drying and downstream processing.
3. Friction Washing

A high-speed friction washer applies mechanical scrubbing action to the plastic flakes.The combination of friction,water,and controlled residence time helps remove:

- Surface deposits

4. Hot Washing

6. Dewatering

7. Thermal Drying

Proper drying helps prevent processing problems during storage,extrusion,and pelletizing.

8. Final Air Separation and Flake Collection

An air classifier or zigzag separator can remove lightweight materials,including labels,films,dust,and fine particles.The cleaned PP PE flakes are then collected in storage silos,big bags,or other packaging systems.

Optional color sorting or advanced separation equipment can be installed when higher flake purity is required.
